Laurel Hill and West Laurel Hill Cemeteries are more than just gravesites – they are a 265-acre arboretum with over 4,000 specimen trees and shrubs! Managing a cemetery that’s also an arboretum – or an arboretum that happens to be a cemetery – comes with both unique challenges and unique opportunities. Join Arboretum Manager Aaron Greenberg to learn how our living collection of trees and shrubs share space above- and below-ground with sculptural monuments, mausolea, and hundreds of thousands of permanent residents. Aaron will focus primarily on how to manage big, beautiful trees and how to make planting decisions in the context of a cemetery.

A Zoom link will be in your confirmation email upon registration. Each presentation will be recorded and available for viewing by registered participants for a limited time after each event.
